1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.Our initial installation of the Evenflo Embrace 35 Car Seat Base took some time. I used the LATCH system, and I had a little bit of trouble getting it tight enough so that it didn't move...but eventually, with the help of my husband, we got it!Now that it is installed, it makes travel with our newborn very easy.We put the base in my truck, and when we take our car, we use a seat-belt to install the car seat. First of all, I'm very happy that we put the base in my truck, because the seats are high enough up that I would have a lot of trouble belting a car seat in. Using the seat-belt in the car is a pain, even when everything is lower and I can reach across the infant seat.Attaching and detaching the car seat from this base is very easy. To install the seat, I position the back of the seat and then rock it forward and it clicks into place. To release the seat, the car seat has a little lever on the back, which you press whilst lifting on the seat.It is especially nice to use the base when the baby is fussy, because if she's seat-belted in, it takes some time to extricate the infant seat, but the seat from the base is very quick.This is a great product.
